“Promoting a Holistic Approach to Your Health – connecting physical, mental and emotional wellbeing”
 
What is a healthy balance between mental and physical health? Can one exist without the other and what is the balance that leads to wellbeing? We know that emotions affect health, but how does they body respond to the way people think, feel and act?
 
In this presentation we will:
         · Identify how people with good emotional health are aware of their thoughts feelings and behaviors.
         · Predict the emotional, social, intellectual and spiritual barriers to healthy behaviors and evaluate ways to overcome those obstacles for supported behavior change.
        · Guidance on how to integrate, design and implement programs that balance the unique and powerful connection between mental, emotional and physical well-being.


Keynote Speaker: Katy Keene

Katy Keene is a health and wellness enthusiast both in her personal life and at the workplace where she enjoys the opportunity to support and share her passion through her position at Inspired Perspectives LLC.  Katy is the Director of Client Solutions at Inspired Perspectives where she serves as a subject matter expert interacting strategically with partners and clients to help meet their objectives for long-term success with their corporate wellness programs. Katy has a double major bachelor’s degrees in Management and Marketing with an emphasis in sales and customer relationship management from Florida State University. Katy focuses on increasing employee engagement, promoting the wellness culture and increasing overall health and satisfaction of employees. Katy’s background of building and managing a corporate wellness program for a large maritime corporation, knowledge as volunteer leader in corporate wellness associations and experience working with corporate clients from a vendor partner perspective lends a multidimensional approach to further the wellness industry.


"Heart Led Leadership"
 
In this fast-paced world, managers have to balance high productivity expectations with supportive staff coaching and mentorship. High-pressured deadlines and work overload lead to increasing stress. Heart-led leadership is based on leading from the heart, with a sense of patience, compassion, kindness, and positive energy. An individual who takes care of his or her own emotional, mental and physical needs is more aligned and less reactive to others. This presentation provides basic skills and techniques to support an individual’s journey toward leading with the heart.

Keynote Speaker: Kelly Andrews

Kelly Andrews has been leading teams in the Health and Wellness field for over 30 years.  She has a BS in Exercise Physiology from University of Tennessee and a MS in Athletic Administration from Florida State University. Her diverse experience and educational background make her uniquely qualified to serve in a variety of settings including corporate, higher education, non-profit, medical and fitness centers.  As a certified wellness coach, holistic stress management instructor, yoga teacher and HeartMath® trainer, Kelly shares her personal journey of finding peace within through her daily practice.  Kelly has a passion for corporate wellness and is the founder of Kelly Andrews LLC, a Wellness Coaching & Consulting business.  She assists individuals, groups and communities in evolving to their greatest capacity through healthy, happy heart-centered living. 

Kelly served as the Chair for the Lakeland Leadership Class XXX in 2012-2013.  She is the current Co-Chair for Polk Vision’s Building a Healthier Polk Worksite Wellness Team and additionally serves on the Polk County Citizen’s Healthcare Oversight Committee.   Kelly takes pleasure in collaborating with professionals and businesses who have a passion for health and wellness.

Kelly shares her personal journey of finding peace within through her daily
